Festival Gnaoua, J1 : Jour de fête !

MUSIC It is under the sign of the day African 14th festival Gnaoua and musics of the world has started this Thursday. To the sound of drums and a Festival of colours, the spirits of the peace and joy woke yesterday to Essaouira.

Here are a few days that the mood moved to the rhythm of the montage of scenes of the festival. Yesterday morning already is referring and crossed the streets of the musicians, fans, happy to celebrate, journalists, tourists, families souiries, groups of friends. Meeting at the Summit in perspective.

Late in the afternoon, after the procession and prayers, the ganga (drums) and rattlesnakes give the tempo. The brotherhoods of the Morocco are met, aligned, are heated, sing and dance. Music, powerful, is finally released. Essaouira is whole, roots us, hair rises. It is beautiful! Colors, tradition, generations mix. A magical awakening.

As in the usual, the wind rose. The "Chergui" as it is called here, is there also. Not an Edition without it only blows and carries far and top the music and songs.
