NEW On 10th of June, the Saha Kfé opened and Made in Essaouira was lucky enough to be there, just to test the menu of course. With falafels and homemade breads, the team of Villa Maroc opened a tearoom in te medina for lunch on the go and light snacks.
Place Chefchaouni, otherwise known as "Place of the Clock" because of its location behind the famous souiri monument, houses a brand new establishment. The Saha Kfé has opened an ideal location, offering snacks all day, that are all homemade.
A Family Affair
The opening of Saha Kfé is familly business, Cornelia and Abderrahim, owners of Villa Maroc located close, invited their friends, family and loved ones to the grand opening, involving everyone in the restaurant. In the kitchen we find, Rajaa, Ismail and Hafida, the gourmet cooks. We find a comfortable spot in the shade and take a seat.
A snack with a twist
Saha Kfé is a beautiful little place, with comfortable furniture, refined decor and quality tableware that accompany the dishes you would thin were bought straight out of the family kitchen. The menu offers A la carte options with Mediterranean breakfast dishes, all priced at 60 to 80 dh and of course a range of delicious sweets from brownies, delicious cheesecakes , carrot cake and lemon cake, all have us eagerly awaiting tea time!
In short, you'll understand why we love this place, tell us what you think and leave your comments for Saha Kfe.
