While in the Medina, walking is best to get around, outside it is quite the opposite. There are many meanbs of transport to get you around this city.
Taxi or carriage, you have the choice
Moving around the new town, you will find small blue taxis at each door of the medina (Bab Doukkala, Bab Marrakech, Bab Sbaa and Ban Menzah) which will take you anywhere you want to go. The fare is 6.5 dh in the day and 8 dh at night, with a maximum of three people per taxi. In Bab Doukkala, a large or small taxi will take you to El Ghazoua at minimal cost. For a less hurried way of travel. a carriage ride start at 2dh per person and can be found in the new town, Bab Doukkala Skala through Al Aqaba Avenue. These carriages are not allowed to stray from their system, so you may have to walk a little to reach your final destination.
Moving around outside the city
To move around on the outskirts of the city, Lima Bus Company is at your service for an affordable price. They travel o Had Draa, Sidi Kaouki and El Hanchane, even Smimou. There are many departures throughout the day from Bab Doukkala. You will find big blue taxis next to the bus station, that can take you to more far away places that cannot be accessed by bus.
The city of Alizees has three bus stations: The main bus station, the Supratour and the CTM bus station will all give you a wide range of options when travelling in the city.
